Physical Therapy Evaluation

A 60-minute evaluation one on one with a licensed Doctor of Physical Therapy. The initial evaluation is designed to review medical history, evaluate effected body region, determine appropriate treatment regimes, provide manual interventions if appropriate and customize treatment plans. Evaluation time to include visit checkout and future scheduling.

Maintenace “Tune up”

Tune up visits are designed for patients who wish to continue manual techniques for muscle recovery, trigger point therapy, joint mobility, or myofascial release. These visits may include the use of instrument assisted soft tissue techniques, joint mobilization/manipulation, dry needling, deep tissue/soft tissue release and stretching. Tune up visits available after initial evaluation and offered in 30-minute and 60-minute sessions.

Follow up Visits “The Works”

A 60-minute follow up to include exercise progressions to home plan, customized rehabilitation program, appropriate manual interventions and strength/mobility training.

Dry Needling Only

Designed for the patient seeking trigger point release, neural desensitization, improvements to tissue length and muscle recovery. Dry needling can be utilized with various techniques and with or without electrical stimulation (TENS). All dry needling only visits require an initial evaluation to determine appropriateness of care. Initial evaluation would entail medical history review, treatment and exercise plan creation (patients can receive a superbill for their own submission to insurance for reimbursement on the eval). Superbills are not provided for dry needling only visits.

Equestrian Biomechanics Assessments

Mobile session at the rider’s barn or our equestrian center. To include a thorough evaluation of the rider on and off horse with assessment of their biomechanics, impairments and weaknesses or determining where pain may be stemming from. Appropriate hands-on treatments and customized exercise plans will be created. In person follow up sessions available and/or telehealth sessions to review exercise progressions.
