About

Vital Strength Physical Therapy LLC was founded in 2024 by Dr. Colleen Wallace, PT.

Dr. Colleen Wallace graduated from Wheeling University in 2019 with her Doctorate in Physical Therapy and has been practicing in outpatient physical therapy since. Her passion for physical therapy began at a young age as she was a competitive horseback rider who spent numerous years in and out of PT and chiropractic care. Upon founding Vital Strength Physical Therapy LLC, she wanted to create a niche to PT that was not readily available. Offering equestrian biomechanics assessments on and off the horse to the rider, she hopes to help riders suffering from pain, reduced strength, endurance and global riding dysfunctions.

In addition to equestrian PT, she offers outpatient therapy services geared towards the patient with customized treatment plans, one on one care and focusing on promoting better movement patterns. She has been utilizing movement based and manual techniques in her treatments to provide pain relief, maintenance care, and sport specific treatments.

A few services provided include dry needling, maintenance care, post-surgical rehab, sport specific training, wellness/injury prevention, equestrian biomechanics assessments, instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization (IASTM), cupping and joint mobilizations/manipulations.
